HOW COME??? APC’s Hope Uzodinma Who Came 4th In Imo Election Is Now The New Governor – Who Can Explain This?

So today, the Supreme Court of Nigeria declared Hope Uzodinma as the winner of the Imo State Election after Ihedioha was sacked. After a seven-man panel of the apex court led by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Tanko Muhammad, unanimously held that Emeka Ihedioha was not duly elected Governor. Okay! that’s even accepted. It’s not a new thing in the Banana Country. But what’s not accepted is declaring Hope Uzodioma as the winner. How can Hope Uzodioma who came 4th in the last election emerge as the winner because the winner was sacked? I think the Supreme Court needs to explain this to all well-meaning Nigerians. Amotekun on a hold

The Nigerian government has declared a regional security outfit, Amotekun, formed by states in the South-west geopolitical zone as illegal. Governors in the region announced the formation of the regional paramilitary outfit last week to  complement the work of the police . Policing is a federal duty under the exclusive list of the Nigerian constitution. A launch of the outfit was held in Ibadan at an event attended by political and traditional leaders across party lines from the South-west. A Tuesday statement from the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, said setting up of the organisation “runs contrary to the provisions of the Nigerian law.”

The DMW boss took to his Twitter handle today to announce the coming of a song he already recorded with  Nicki Minaj  which is produced by Speroach Davido also announced that he would be releasing his third studio album titled “A Better Time” in July. The new album would come barely eight months after the release of his second studio album titled “A Good Time”. A Good Time was released on November 22, 2019, through Davido Music Worldwide, RCA Records and Sony Music. The album featured American superstar Chris Brown and Jamaican singer Popcaan, among others.

BREAKING NEWS:Coronavirus:Kaduna extends lockdown by 30 days

Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai Kaduna State  Governor, Nasir El-Rufai , has extended the quarantine orders being enforced in the state for another 30 days, the governor’s spokesperson, Muyiwa Adekeye, said in a statement. The statement added, “The governor’s decision follows a recommendation to that effect by the State Standing Committee on Covid-19, which is chaired by the Deputy Governor, Hadiza Balarabe. This is effective from today, April 26 “With Covid-19 cases rising rapidly in neighbouring states and the FCT, and with strong evidence of interstate travel being a major means of spreading the virus, the Standing Committee’s evaluation is that measures to protect Kaduna State residents require further strengthening and more vigorous enforcement. “Mallam Nasir El-Rufai has endorsed this evaluation and has accordingly reviewed the Quarantine Orders to strengthen the provisions against unauthorised movements.
