CELEBRITY: Some facts you don't know about Billie Eilish

Image
Not many people can claim to be as busy as Billie Eilish, especially not at her age. At just 18, she has already nabbed the honour of having the best performing album of 2019 in the US, and is the youngest person ever to win in the four main Grammy’s categories in the same year. All of this, as well as her fascinatingly unique music videos and iconic looks, have set her up to become the next reigning queen of pop – and she’s already pushing the charts to embrace her twisted take on the genre. With over 12 million followers on Instagram alone, it’s fair to say that Billie Eilish is slaying the social media game. In fact, considering her cutting-edge fashion and signature hair – whether it’s blue, grey or green and black – I wouldn’t be surprised if some people came across her profile before they ever came across her music. Despite her reach though, she’s actually reluctant to use Instagram, and is sceptical of social media as a whole.   She even called it “insanely dangerous

IMPORTANT: 'NO EVIDENCE' yet that recovered COVID-19 patients are immune - WHO

Image
Coronavirus antibody test kits are key to plans for proposed "immunity passports," but the World Health Organization is warning that such cards may simply encourage further transmission. The World Health Organization has pushed back against the theory that individuals can only catch the coronavirus once, as well as proposals for reopening society that are based on this supposed immunity. In  a scientific brief dated Friday , the United Nations agency said the idea that one-time infection can lead to immunity remains unproven and is thus unreliable as a foundation for the next phase of the world's response to the pandemic. "Some governments have suggested that the detection of antibodies to the SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, could serve as the basis for an 'immunity passport' or 'risk-free certificate' that would enable individuals to travel or to return to work assuming that they are protected against re-infection," the WHO wrote. &q

Covid-19: Photos of Coronavirus patients battling for their lives in hospitals around the world

Image
As the fight against the novel coronavirus continues, I have compiled some photos of victims of Coronavirus battling for their lives in Intensive Care Units around the world. I did this because of the heightened ignorance that has permeated our neighborhood that the virus is not real. Yesterday, I was arguing with a friend, an independent graduate and he arrogantly said that the virus was not in Nigeria. He said this in the midst of fairly educated people and they all were egging him on, saying that our Federal Government wants to punish us unnecessarily. I felt bad because if an educated man could spew forth such balderdash, what will then happen to the ignorant ones? From the foregoing, it is apparent that many people are clearly ignorant of the deadly virus or probably grossly underinformed. In a bid to dispel these rumours, I had to bring these images from reputed and leading news websites in the world to show that the virus is real. Follow me, let's go: Coronavirus patients be
