NEWS: Nigerians starts a protest on twitter #Extendlockdown as NCDC releases result on Tuesday

On Tuesday night, the Nigeria Center for Disease Control NCDC announced 195 new cases in Nigeria, with 80 cases in Lagos alone.  

195 new cases of reported;

Nigerians have taken to social media to react in shock to the new development, bearing in mind that the lockdown will be eased off by Monday May 4 and everyone is expected to get back to work. Taking to Twitter, some Nigerians called on President Buhari to extend the lockdown.
Honestly, without shying from the truth,A picture was taken in a market and it was proven how unsafe we are.
There was no social distancing. Most Nigerians loves the decision of the government but we have to think about how fast this virus spreads and lackadaisical some nigerians can be.
Obviously,the government are doing their best for us but the best we can do for ourselves is to sit at home.
Many Nigerians reacted after the government announced the ease of lockdown as from May 4. The general oversee of the redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye which was one of them said " If you love yourself,stay at home"

Nigerian singer Davido,The DMW boss has announced his upcoming new song featuring American female rapper Nicki Minaj. Davido  is definitely not stopping anytime soon with his penetration of International Market as he is set to feature the huge American Female star. The DMW boss took to his Twitter handle today to announce the coming of a song he already recorded with  Nicki Minaj  which is produced by Speroach Davido also announced that he would be releasing his third studio album titled “A Better Time” in July. The new album would come barely eight months after the release of his second studio album titled “A Good Time”. A Good Time was released on November 22, 2019, through Davido Music Worldwide, RCA Records and Sony Music. The album featured American superstar Chris Brown and Jamaican singer Popcaan, among others.

NEWS: FG clarify issues on resumption and warns parents against paying Third term school fees to schools.

This was revealed in a statement issued by the Federal Capital Territory (FCTA) Education Secretary on Tuesday, warning private schools owners against opening of schools or planning to commence the third term online. The acting Secretary for Education, Umaru Marafa, reiterated that the closure of school and resumption was in effect till further notice and added that no academic activities in all schools shall commence until a notice to reopen school is approved and conveyed by the Secretariat. Also, Marafa advised all schools to maintain the status quo and keep their schools closed until further notice. He exclaimed that any violation to this will have to face justice. “It has been drawn to our notice that some private schools are already demanding from parents the school fees for 3rd term from parents and the term hasn't been effective yet due to the purported resumption.
