CELEBRITY: See what Davido is trying to do to aid Covid-19 research

The DMW boss, David Davido Adeleke(O.B.O) has announced that the proceeds from his recent music video, Dolce & Gabbana, will go to a coronavirus research program.

In a recent interview with CNN,The DMW boss said he will be donating the proceeds from the newly released music video to Dolce & Gabbana and Humanitas Together for Coronavirus Research fund.

The video, which was released on Friday, April 24, off his ‘A Good Time’ album featuring Summer Walker, is geared to strengthen efforts toward scientific research benefitting global health. 

Davido also noted that the effect of the virus on Nigeria prompted his family to donate the sum of $1.3 million to the federal government and also distributed over 6,000 bags of rice across the Osun state.

Speaking on the effect of coronavirus, Davido said, “People are really going through a hard time. This is the first time something like this has paused the whole world. A lot of people out here make money from day to day, like, surviving day to day pay. That’s not possible because we all have to stay inside

Davido  is definitely not stopping anytime soon with his penetration of International Market as he is set to feature the huge American Female star. The DMW boss took to his Twitter handle today to announce the coming of a song he already recorded with  Nicki Minaj  which is produced by Speroach Davido also announced that he would be releasing his third studio album titled “A Better Time” in July. The new album would come barely eight months after the release of his second studio album titled “A Good Time”. A Good Time was released on November 22, 2019, through Davido Music Worldwide, RCA Records and Sony Music. The album featured American superstar Chris Brown and Jamaican singer Popcaan, among others.

Nigerian singer,  Simi  and her husband,  Adekunle Gold  have reportedly welcomed their first child in the United States of America. The report which was first published by blogger, SDK on her blog, alleged that the duo welcomed their baby before Simi released her “Duduke” video. Simi and Adekunle Gold reportedly arrived the US long before the coronavirus pandemic. NEWS: FG clarify issues on resumption and warns parents against paying Third term school fees to schools.

This was revealed in a statement issued by the Federal Capital Territory (FCTA) Education Secretary on Tuesday, warning private schools owners against opening of schools or planning to commence the third term online. The acting Secretary for Education, Umaru Marafa, reiterated that the closure of school and resumption was in effect till further notice and added that no academic activities in all schools shall commence until a notice to reopen school is approved and conveyed by the Secretariat. Also, Marafa advised all schools to maintain the status quo and keep their schools closed until further notice. He exclaimed that any violation to this will have to face justice. “It has been drawn to our notice that some private schools are already demanding from parents the school fees for 3rd term from parents and the term hasn't been effective yet due to the purported resumption.
